Adam has over two decades of legal experience, and focuses his practice on estate and trust litigation, guardianship litigation, estate, trust and guardianship administration, and estate planning. He has extensive experience in representing fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and interested parties in complex and contested probate, trust, and guardianship matters. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida. He graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology in 1998.He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 2002. Before joining Barner & Barner, P.A., Adam served as a staff attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Palm Beach County, Florida from 2002 to 2005. He then worked as an associate attorney at Sachs, Sax, Klein, P.A. from 2005 to 2008, and as a partner at Boyes, Farina & Matwiczyk, P.A. from 2008 to 2023.
Adam achieved the highest peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell, “AV Preeminent,” is a member of the Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Craig S. Bernard American Inns of Court, LIV (emeritus member). He has also contributed to and presented several seminars on topics related to estate and trust litigation, guardianship law, and estate planning. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, but was raised in DeLand, Florida and is an avid Florida Gator fan. He enjoys spending time with his family, and when he has a chance, motorcycling, golfing, and both salt and freshwater fishing. He is also a USA Swimming official.
